Dear Subscriber,
Welcome to the Guerrilla Marketing
Coach e-newsletter!
We are celebrating today's newsletter
- it is our 100th issue. We started it in late 2000 with 1
subscriber. Now nearly four years later, we have over 45,000.
And we have you to thank for this!
As you remember last week, I
started a brand new list entitled "Mitch's Song
of the Week" where you can hear a recording
of one of my songs. So far over 130 people have signed up
and I received emails from at least 10 of you telling me that
the music added a lot to your day. In fact, I'd like to share
three of these with you right now.
------------------------------------
"Wow...a perfect ending to a terrific day. You just encouraged
us all to keep sharing our talents, Mitch. What a treat
to have a gift like this with nothing else attached, just
pure great music. Oh, the possibilities!"
Ann
"Thanks for the song. And more importantly, thanks for
taking what some people would call a chance on bringing more
humanity to the "business world." If we're going
to transform business to a sustainable model that supports
everyone on the planet, we'll need everything we've got; brains
and soul. Thanks for showing the way".
Tom
Am I allowed to play this in my store????? I Love it!!!!!!!!!

Aside from this being fun, there
are two reasons this may apply to you, the small
business owner, as well.
1.) Perhaps like some of you,
I have been neglecting to start a new business around my passion.
Year after year I would say "I should do it," but
then I wouldn't. I had lots of very good excuses :)
What I set up last week was not
only a way to share my music with you, but a system
of accountability for myself. Think about it - over
130 people (so far) are now expecting a song from me every
week. A promise
to other people changes the playing field. What kind of promise
do you want to make?
2.) As a result of this first
step I am now creating a marketing plan for a new
business. Keep in mind this is an industry that I
will essentially be starting in from scratch, where I have
no contacts and face a huge amount of competition. I am very
aware of how many songwriters are trying to get their music
heard.
So in putting it out to you in
a very real way, I am making this new business a reality.
I encourage you to do the same thing in your life. You may
not have a list as large as mine, but you have people
around you can share your dream with. I hope you
take some time this week to do this.
This week's song is very special.
I composed with another musician last month for the Coachville
Annual Convention in Orlando. It is now their new theme song
called "Your Passion Inside".

here to read the lyrics and hear it right now.
Now on to today's issue, there
are some very cool things in it.
Warm regards,
Mitch
